Nothing Much.

Keiran and I were up and out the door by 7:30. We were going to go help a man named Luca (Luke) fix his roof. He is a 25ish year old Malawian who is the manager of the gardens. We sat around his house for awhile waiting for him, but he he didn't arrive. After about thirty more minutes, K and I decided to go find Darren to see if Luca was with him. No. No, he wasn't there, so we hung out with Darren for awhile, and then Luca arrived in the shop. He was looking sick and asked for a place to sit down. He has a bad cut on his foot that he showed me a couple days ago. It was healing, but he was having some large dizziness. So Keiran and I were not going do the roof, because Luca wasn't feeling well enough.

Keiran in waiting.

Keiran and I had some Free Time due to Luca's house being delayed, so we walked around the village. A whole herd of cattle came walking past. A little boy in the back herding them up.

We kept on walking, and then we saw all these skinny guys inside this handcrafted fence.

I saw this little guy a little later. He is so cute. I was happy when he stopped, and then I had to make him face me, so that I could get a perfect photo of him.

Lil Pumba
Keiran and I had to go get a ladder for a air conditioner guy that was at the Gill's house - the missionaries that just left -, and on their patio we saw this huge centipede. I had to be careful with taking a photo with this guy, because he was pretty fast at moving and one bite from him, and I would either be hospitalized or dead. Lol. This photo below shows just how big he is.

Death has 40 feet.
And here is a close up of him. 40 feet and 4 antennas.

So Dane. Here is a picture of me with a six month Great Dane named Faith. She is so cute and such an awesome dog. Being six months old, she is already as tall as Blizzard, our family Great Pyrenees. Heads up, hands up, I want one for Christmas.

The best dogs start with, 'Great'
This is the other dog at the Gill's house. He lies down just like Joey, my family's Jack Russel/Chihuahua/Wire-Haired Terrier mix. This dog is always happy and twice the size of Joey. I think it is the Chihuahua part of our dog that makes him so much smaller than this three year old Jack Russel named, Poppy.

At noon, Keiran and I went over to the Gill's house to do school in their school room. After thirty minutes of doing my English, I looked out the window and saw these little ones waiting for K and I to come and play.

WAWA! (hello.)
We did our school for an hour or so in this schoolroom. Those chairs are so great on their floors.

We finished school and headed out to visit some more of the village. All the village houses are made of brick, and this little steaming brick building unit is the brick maker. The villagers dig out dirt and form it with water to form bricks. Then they put it in this fireplace thingy and it burns them into hardened bricks.

After walking around for a while, a whole herd of little boys and a few girls showed up and followed me around. They are so cute. Everytime someone brings out a camera, they have to show off their ninja moves or how tough they are.

Karate Kids
Here is a better close up of them.

And another.

For the rest of the evening, Keiran and I did nothing really. Only one thing: Flashing the camera light into each other's eyes. It blinds the other person for a short while and feels really weird if the flash is super close to your head. Here are some shots we did when we were doing it.

NO! HE ISN"T BLACK! All the Malawians are...

And the very white kid...
We finished the evening with dinner and Terminator 3. Whatever that one is called. Lol

  1. Sounds like you are having a great time. Just don't be foolish when it comes to real threats such as that creatures in Africa. They really should be respected as deadly if they are!

That is what happens when you are the new white kid in the whole district. I was in a market today, and some girls came up to me and said my name. I was like. 'woah, how do you know me.' Lol. It was my first time in that village. ;)
