Hot Days Inn

A storm came today in the afternoon. It wasn't a huge one, but it was a nice cool one that sent us some cooling rain and a breeze.

So with it being cooler, Keiran and I figured that the bricks at the other Gill's house would be cooler to climb on. We got there and started climbing. We did for about an hour. Photo credits to Keiran.

And duh bum shot. Lol.

Yes, I had to climb this wall on me bum with it being eighteen feet up. Photo credits to Keiran.
(Austin's starting to sound English or Irish! Credits to Darren? lol)

Koala Bearing it at eighteen or so feet. Photo credits to Keiran.

(stupid boy) comment credit to Mum ;)

It was pretty fun to climb all over the brick building, but at one point, climbing around on a ledge I cut the bottom of my big toes. Kinda hurt, since the big toes are some of the really needed ones for gripping when climbing. Those and hands.

After that, we went to go check out a soccer game that was happening at the field next to us.

Then we ended up playing with some kids. Lol.

Keiran wresting with a thirteen year-old Malawian. Sadly, with how good the Malawian is at putting people into holds, Keiran lost.
Heading home to make some Canadian food! Fries and Chicken strips.

Keiran found this millipede outside. They are poisonous if you touch their body. Keiran says he hasn't been poisoned by them, so he doesn't think it will happen. That's why he's holding it.

Peeling 'em potatoes.

A bit bigger that the Canadian Daddy Long Legs.

With dinner done, I started my blogging. That's what I do.

In the day hours: I work.

In the afternoon two hours: I get off to either catch up on blogging, or do something else.

In the evening after dinner: If the power is on, I do blogging. If the power is off, we either sit there looking awkward. Lol. Or Keiran and I go walking around the village.

But as I was blogging, I noticed all the lumps from mosquito bites. These ones here are horrible. If I rub them, the first skin layer rubs away and leaves me with a scar for a week. A bit painful, too.

  1. Boy cuts and bites and bugs I sure hope you have some anti biotic cream. I'm sure your Mum will have a few more grey hairs by the time you come home. What a shock that will be from 47 deg. To minus 10 and snow. Enjoy your last two weeks. Linda
