Friday:
Here are some more thorns to start this post off. If you are ever going to come to Malawi, bring some very thick soled shoes. There are thorns everywhere: On the ground, the shrubs, larger plants, trees. Just like - EVERYWHERE.

As I arrived at the workshop, (in the photo above in the left hand corner) I pulled out my camera to take a picture of George working, but of course he hid. Lol. He's a pretty funny guy, and he's like five foot four or five. Levi Bedford's (another one of my friends from back home) height.
George was scooping up manure in the goat pen with his shovel and wheel-barrel.

With it being Friday night, Keiran and I asked if we could stay over at the Gill's for the night. After some discussion, Keiran grabbed his Tablet and speaker, and I grabbed my laptop and iPod Nano and we headed over to the next-door house. Lol. The power had gone out a few hours before, so we had to first find a flashlight, and then search the Gill's for a candle or two.
We managed to find around sixty, but we only lit about thirty to thirty-five. At eleven, the power came on. I figured that Leila would still be up with leaving for Canada and all. She usually goes to bed at eight-ish. She wakes up as early as three and as late as six. I walkie-talkied the house and asked if Keiran and I could watch a movie. At two we finished watching, 'Get Smart.' I watched a bit more of another movie with Keiran before deciding to go to bed at three.
Keiran wanted to stay up, so I warned him that he'd be feeling like a wreck the next morning if he did an all-nighter as it would be his first. He told me to not worry, so I went to bed.
Stay tuned for at least another week, because there will be a few interesting things happening. Ya, I am a prophet. I can tell the future. No lol. i'm just writing a week ahead. haha.
